✰ NYC DIARIES ✰

On my way to NYC I was sitting next to an older woman with chipped baby pink nail polish and a bright neon iPad mini. As the plane took off, my palms were slightly sweaty and Girl Like Me by PinkPantheress were blasting through my headphones at the highest volume. We were served chicken and baked potatoes with banana cake for dessert, and I had already picked out “Crazy, Stupid, Love” to watch while eating. To people’s surprise, I have always loved airplane food. I think it’s the bubbly feeling of being on your way somewhere that makes everything taste good. Eight hours later I landed in the city of dreams and 80% of my mobile data was already used up after 10 minutes. As the police officer in passport control scanned me from head to toe and asked the standard “business or pleasure?” question, I replied, “I’m here to see my boyfriend perform in a theatre play.”

At day two it was time for opening night at the theatre. With me I had packed two black blazer jackets to choose from. I went for the second option with the silver buttons.

Strolling around in SoHo I had this local pharmacy called Thompson Alchemists on my visit list. They were rumoured to have dupes of the Mason Pearson hairbrushes I’ve been dying to test for one third of the price. I of course picked one up for 45$.

Love thrifting in New York. Didn’t end up buying a lot but tried on this light green safari style jacket which was a bit too expensive. Also found this black wool jacket with pocket details which I looved, but unfortunately too small. We went to L-Train Vintage, Crossroads, 2nd Street, Monk Vintage, Beacons Closet, and Buffalo Exchange.

Bought these perfect loose silky pants. Can’t wait to style them for the upcoming spring and summer months.

Obviously did some damage at Sephora. Bought the Saie Base Brush, Glowy Super Gel & Dew Bronzer, the Merit Complexion Stick, the Refy Sculpt Mascara in brown and a Rhode Pocket Blush in “Toasted Teddy.”

Went to see The Drama at Nitehawk cinema in Williamsburg. Really enjoyed it!

Ahhh I just LOVE a diner vibe. Wished we had more of these in Oslo. Had a delicious strawberry milkshake in Revelie Luncheonette in SoHo.
