Coming to you from Oslo’s old public library, as I figured my little announcement — and my new boots, apparently — deserved its place amongst the words of great poets and writers. I guess the start of every new year not only brings a long list of overly-optimistic, borderline-impossible new years resolutions (I’ve already failed half of mine), but also new beginnings, new directions, and new chances. Ever since 2026 made its arrival, I’ve been transforming and realigning - as my icon Addison Rae so nicely put it - doing the final bits of shedding to honor the end of the Snake era, and now finally pulling on my riding boots yee-haw.
In other words, I’ve been reflecting, contemplating, and dreaming & scheming about how I want this magazine to grow and evolve. Maybe I’m just throwing out more glamorous words for procrastinating, but the main idea remains the same; I want to make creating, writing and producing a more constant part of my life. Surprisingly, the year’s first rebrand (of many predicted) has nothing to do with trashing half of my wardrobe (trust me it’s coming next), but its the rebrand of Intern Magazine: now officially operating as a blog. Moving onwards, I will be posting and sharing what I love, what I hate, rabbit holes, cool people, random side quests and whatever I can’t stop thinking about. I’ve always wanted to create a space that embraces both fantasy and reality, the silly yet serious, the grand and small, and the important and the unimportant - all in perfect harmony. And here we are. Looking forward to continuing to evolve and transform for the upcoming year!
